Register for EzyBill (email delivery of notices)
Gladstone Regional Council can deliver your Rate Notice, Water Notice and Animal Registration Notice (Notice/s) to your nominated email address in place of post. This information is for persons who register to receive this service.
By registering to receive Notice(s) by email and the use of this facility, you acknowledge you have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions below.
Terms and Conditions
- Gladstone Regional Council has an arrangement with EzyBill to electronically deliver your Rate Notice, Water Notice and Animal Registration Notice (Notice/s) via this facility.
- If you choose to use the facility you must first register with, and provide your details to, EzyBill and agree to the EzyBill Terms and Conditions of use.
- Upon your request to receive the nominated Rate Notice, Water Notice and Animal Registration Notice(s) via the facility you acknowledge and agree you are the property/animal owner and/or liable for responding to and making payment of the nominated Rate Notice, Water Notice and Animal Registration Notice and you will share this electronic nominated Rate Notice, Water Notice and Animal Registration Notice with other persons so named as required.
- For the nominated property, Council will no longer post paper Notices to you or any person/company to whom paper Notices were previously sent.
- All future Rates, Water or Animal Registration Notice(s) will be in the form of a PDF attachment to an email sent to the address nominated by you. Please note Supplementary notices will still be sent by postal mail.
- You must advise any person to whom the current paper Rates, Water or Animal Registration Notice are being sent to, that they will no longer receive a paper Rates, Water or Animal Notice as a result of your request. Council will not be responsible for providing this notification.
- You must check your nominated email address for Rates, Water or Animal correspondence before the respective due dates for each notice and agree that the storage and retention of the Notice/s is your responsibility. Council will not reissue notices that have been emailed.
- You agree that you are deemed to have been delivered, received and presented the Notice(s) once the email has been sent and it reaches your internet service provider, whether or not you have opened or read the email.
- If Council receives a non-delivery receipt, the Notice(s) will be posted to the mailing address listed in Council's records and you will be automatically deregistered from receiving Notices by email until you have updated your email address with Council.
- If you wish to change the email address to which Notice(s) are to be provided, you must update, and keep updated the email address for the delivery for the notices as registered in EzyBill.
- You may withdraw your request for email of Notice(s) any time by deregistering on Council's website. You may continue to receive your notices in your Ezybill for up to 30 days after you have unsubscribed while we process your request. (Confirmation email will be sent to advise of deregistration).
- Due to processing times to subscribe/unsubscribe/change your registration details within 7 working days of the issue date of a Notice, your request may not take effect until the following Notice.
- It is the owners or authorised agents’ responsibility to ensure that the nominated email address is correct prior to the issue date of Notice(s).
- You or your authorised agent must promptly inform Council of any change of email address and/or postal address.
- The delivery of Notice/s may be cancelled by you or authorised agent by advising Council of the change. Should you fail to do so you accept responsibility for any loss of discount or late payment that may result due to the failure to receive Notice(s).
- If you cease to own this property, you will need to unsubscribe your EzyBill registration for that property. Gladstone Regional Council will cancel your registration for the property when advised of a change of ownership on the title to the property.
- Gladstone Regional Council is not responsible for any delivery delays or failures by the facility.
- Not all communications from Gladstone Regional Council will utilise EzyBill, you will still receive paper communications by post for other official communications.
- You will not be charged a fee by Gladstone Regional Council for accessing a copy of your Rate Notice, Water Notice and Animal Registration Notice(s) in EzyBill.
